ATI 425® Alloy in the News
ATI 425® Alloy AMS specifications are now available for titanium bars, wire, forgings, rings, and drawn shapes in annealed (AMS6948) and annealed, heat treatable (AMS6947) conditions.
Characterization of ATI 425® Alloy - MMPDS Data
In April, 2010, ATI 425® Alloy (AMS 6946) Metallic Materials Properties Development & Standard (MMPDS) handbook properties were approved for A- and B- basis allowable for aerospace design at the 17th MMPDS Coordination Meeting. This revolutionary material, now approved and characterized for aerospace design, brings combined tensile strength and formability never before available in titanium. See chart below for typical tensile stress-strain curves for ATI 425® Alloy titanium cold-rolled sheet.
MMPDS data for ATI 425® Alloy is now available for review at www.mmpds.org
