Game-Changing Performance in Titanium
ATI 425® Alloy is a proven performer, primarily in plate form for ballistic armor. Recently, ATI has started commercial production of this titanium alloy to the AMS 6946 aerospace specification and has characterized this innovative alloy for leading-edge applications in aerospace and other new markets. Aerospace design allowables have been developed according to MMPDS methodology and will be published in the MMPDS handbook for broad use in the commercial aerospace industry. ATI is developing specifications for ATI 425® Alloy in a broad range of product forms, including continuous cold-rolled coil in 36-inch, 1-meter and 48-inch widths.
